Jordan's passion for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities grew from her personal experiences of having a sibling with Autism and observing her mother's work as a teacher for students with learning disabilities for 20+ years. Jordan received a bachelor's degree from Angelo State University in Exercise Science and recently graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - School of Health Professions with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD). Throughout her education, she has had the opportunity to learn from skilled allied health professionals and various clients with a wide array of cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs.Effective the summer of 2024, Jordan will work as a pediatric occupational therapist at West Texas Rehabilitation Center in San Angelo, Texas. In this position, she will collaborate with patients and their families to help them achieve independence with tasks and roles necessary for success throughout childhood.
