We lean on parents’ comprehensive view of their child's daily life, including social interactions, communication styles, and personal interests to development our curriculum of life skills that are not only practical but also meaningful to the child. The surveys will help us identify gaps in existing services and training programs and highlight areas where additional support is needed. Your feedback can guide the development of our initial comprehensive training initiatives, as well as valuable partners in education to help bridge the gap between home and training environments, facilitating a more cohesive approach to skill development.

The construction of a Abilities Lodge begins with building a supportive community where families can share experiences, resources, and strategies. This engagement will be our foundation for emotional support and practical advice. Serving participating families by including them in the evaluation process to help parents feel empowered and more confident in advocating for their child's future to increase engagement in their child's development and transition to adulthood.
