At Abilities Ranch, we create meaningful experiences where individuals can face challenges, discover what they are capable of, build confidence, and experience the joy that comes from progress.
Through therapeutic riding, equine-assisted programs, Special Olympics, and a community built on encouragement and belonging, we help each participant take their next step — whatever that step may look like for them.

At Abilities Ranch, we begin by discovering who that person is, what they enjoy, what they can already do, and what might happen if someone believes in them enough to create the next opportunity.

Therapeutic Riding & Equine Experiences
Activities may include approaching and interacting with a horse, grooming, learning horse care, identifying tack and equipment, following directions, mounting and dismounting, developing balance and coordination, learning to guide a horse, and progressing toward greater independence.
Special Olympics equestrian
Abilities Ranch participants have the opportunity to develop their riding skills and compete as Special Olympics athletes. Competition provides another opportunity to set goals, practice, improve, represent a team, and experience the
pride that comes from accomplishment.
Who We Serve
Abilities Ranch works with individuals with a variety of developmental, intellectual, neurological, and physical challenges. Because every person is different, participation is considered individually to determine whether our current programs can provide a safe and meaningful experience.
