Jason Current has a BS in Business Management and a Construction Management Cert. from Utah Valley University. He has over 10 years of water management experience and 25 years of business experience. Mr. Current has been a successful entrepreneur building and growing businesses from startup to sale with a strong emphasis on implementation of processes and cost controls. Mr. Current has lead successful construction, water treatment, sourcing, and transfer teams. He worked in designing, planning and building of underground pipelines, recycle facilities, and storage infrastructure.
In college Jason had the opportunity to volunteer with an organization that provided Big Brothers and Sisters for special needs individuals. This experience taught him that he had a gift for connecting with these amazing people. Throughout the ensuing years he had the opportunity to work with kids as a volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, church youth groups, Camp
Able (Equine Therapy), and various children’s sports organizations. While working with these organizations Mr. Current and his wife Regina have recognized the necessity for helping special needs individuals to realize their true potential, what they can do instead of what they cannot do. The Abilities Ranch is only the beginning of realizing this dream.
"Having had the opportunity to work with Equine Therapy groups for the past 5 years we have recognized the need to help young special needs individuals find what they can do instead of define them by what they cannot do. This need has helped us create the idea for the Abilities Ranch. Our goal is to provide therapeutic riding and life skill training to empower individuals with disabilities to discover more about themselves and develop skills and confidence that help them progress far beyond preconceived limitations."
